
Manuel Jacques has been working for Technip Energies since 2003 and is currently the Head of Early Engagement of Technip Energies' Decarbonization Business Line.
In this role, Mr. Jacques duties include managing pre-sales commercial activities; following the CCUS market, trends in investment and the evolution of technology; and supporting the definition of the strategy in technology and partnerships and associated R&D activities.
During his career with Technip energies, Mr Jacques held several key positions such as Gas Treatment and CCUS Technology Manager, Gas Treatment Consulting and Technology Manager for the EMIA region.
Previously, Mr. Jacques was Principal Process Engineer with a focus on sour gas processing (CO2 and H2S), flue gas treatment, carbon capture, sulphur recovery, acid gas injection and has been involved in all aspects of project’s development from conceptual study to EPC, including site activities for debottlenecking, start-up and troubleshooting of ones of the largest gas treatment plants worldwide.
Mr. Jacques holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers of Paris (France) and is a member of Technip Energies’ Expert Network from 2015.
